The content piece knows which assets it uses; the asset knows which content uses it. That two-way bookkeeping is what powers the usage count and linkage bar you see in the \u003Ca href=\"\u002Fhelp\u002Fuploading-and-tagging\">Assets Manager\u003C\u002Fa>, and it&#39;s what stops you from deleting an image that&#39;s still live on three pages.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>An asset can attach to a content piece through two distinct roles:\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Col>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Cover.\u003C\u002Fstrong> The single hero image for the piece — a direct reference on the content record (\u003Ccode>cover_asset_id\u003C\u002Fcode>). This is the image that represents the piece in lists, in the \u003Ca href=\"\u002Fhelp\u002Fthe-calendar-view\">calendar\u003C\u002Fa>, and as the fallback social\u002FOG image when you publish.\u003C\u002Fli>\n\u003Cli>\u003Cstrong>Media.\u003C\u002Fstrong> A list of additional assets attached to the piece. Set the cover image and add any additional media assets there.
