What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your actions and preferences so you don't have to re-enter them each time. We also use similar technologies like local storage and session storage, which this policy covers collectively.
The Cookies We Use
m18t keeps its use of cookies deliberately minimal:
- Essential — keep you logged in, remember your language, and protect your session. These are required for m18t to work and are always active.
- Functional — remember your preferences, such as light/dark theme and sidebar state.
- Analytics — help us understand how the Platform is used, via PostHog (routed through our own first-party endpoint) and, on the marketing site, Google Analytics. Analytics are aggregate; we do not use them to build advertising profiles of you.
- Marketing — used only on the marketing site to measure campaigns (Google Ads). These run only when the corresponding keys are configured.
Your Consent and Control
Non-essential cookies (analytics and marketing) run only when we have the relevant keys configured, and a granular in-app consent banner is on our near-term roadmap. Until it ships, you control cookies primarily through your browser settings, described below. Essential cookies cannot be switched off, because the Platform cannot function without them.

You can control cookies directly through your browser settings. Each browser handles this differently:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Privacy, Search, and Services → Cookies
Please note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in and using the Platform.
