Refunds

During beta

m18t is currently in beta and is free to use. There is no fee paid to m18t for the platform during this period; therefore there is nothing to refund. Any third-party costs you incur from AI providers (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic), social platforms (Meta), your CMS host, or storage providers are paid by you directly to those providers, and refund eligibility for those costs is governed by their respective policies.

When paid plans start

Plans are priced per brand, and you can pay monthly or a year at a time. The two are refunded differently, because a month of billing and a year of billing are not the same promise.

Paying monthly

Cancel whenever you want. You keep everything until the end of the month you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. We do not refund part of a month that is already running, and we do not ask you why you are leaving.

Paying for a year

You have thirty days from the charge to change your mind and get all of it back. Not fourteen, thirty, because a workspace takes longer than a fortnight to judge honestly and we would rather you took the time.

After thirty days we do not refund the unused part of the term as a matter of course. You keep your access for the whole term you paid for, and you are free to stop at the end of it. If something has genuinely gone wrong for you, write to us and we will look at it properly rather than pointing at this paragraph.

Renewals will never be a surprise

We email you thirty days before a yearly plan renews, saying what will be charged and on what date. If it renews anyway and you did not want it to, tell us within thirty days and you get the whole renewal back. A charge nobody meant to make is not revenue we want.

Changing your plan partway through

Because each brand carries its own plan, you may want to move one down a level or drop it entirely partway through a year you have already paid for. That difference comes back as credit against your next renewal rather than as money returned. Moving a brand up a level is charged for the remainder of the term only.

What we cannot refund

The charges from services you connect with your own keys. Your AI provider, the social platforms, your CMS host, your storage. Those are billed by them, straight to you, and never pass through us, so there is nothing on our side to give back. Their refund terms are theirs.

How to ask

Email [email protected] or use the contact form. Tell us which workspace and we will handle it. There is no form to fill in and no retention call to sit through. While m18t is free there is nothing to refund, so this is a description of what happens once there is.

Data after cancellation

If you cancel, refunded or not, your data is retained for at least 30 days to allow you to re-subscribe and resume. After that period, your workspace database and storage bucket are scheduled for deletion. Exports are available on request through the contact form for at least the 30-day retention window.

Changes to this policy

This policy will be updated when paid plans launch and may be updated thereafter. Material changes will be communicated via email to existing subscribers and noted in the build-in-public blog at least 30 days before taking effect.
