The Studio Dashboard

Read the Studio Dashboard as a daily pulse check: what each widget shows, how it re-shards per brand, and how Sync Health flags an expired token before you

What you'll learn

  • What each widget on the Studio Dashboard actually shows.
  • How the dashboard re-shards when you switch brands.
  • How to read it as a daily pulse check instead of a vanity screen.

The Studio Dashboard is the page you land on at /studio. It's titled Studio Dashboard and it pulls a slice of every major surface — content, assets, product specs, the news pipeline, automation, sync logs — onto one scrollable screen. The point isn't to admire numbers. It's to spot what needs attention before you go dig into a specific tool.

Like everything in m18t, the dashboard is brand-scoped. It reads from the Brand Switcher at the top of the sidebar. Pick All Brands and the widgets aggregate across your whole account; pick a single brand and every chart recalculates to just that brand's data. There's a refresh button in the header to re-pull all of it.

The overview stats

The top row is five plain counts for the active brand:

  • Content — how many pieces live in your content workspace, across every status.
  • Solutions — top-level Product Manager entries.
  • Intel — total items pulled in by the News Manager pipeline.
  • Artifacts — rich-text documents in your artifact library.
  • Sync Health — the percentage of your recent external pushes (publishing to Facebook, pushing to your CMS) that succeeded. A dropping number is your first hint that a token expired.

The analytical widgets

The next tier is four cards meant for diagnosing where work is stuck:

  • Content Distribution — a doughnut of your content broken down by type (blog post, social post, and so on), with a footer that splits the pile into Live, Work, and Idle so you can see how much is published versus sitting in the backlog.
  • Media Repository — your assets by file kind (Images, Videos, Docs, Other) plus the total storage size for the active brand. A "Browse Assets" link drops you into the Assets Manager.
  • Product Pulse — your top Solutions, each with a thin status bar across its features, so you can read how far along a build is without opening the dependency graph.
  • News Intelligence — the News Manager pipeline at a glance: how many articles were Found, Drafted, Skipped, or errored, plus a pipeline-velocity bar. The Scout button here triggers a manual poll of your RSS sources.

Operational health

The third tier is the boring-but-important row:

  • Automation Health — your cron jobs: the next scheduled run and whether the last one succeeded or failed.
  • Sync Pulse — a feed of recent external-push log entries. If a CMS push failed on an expired API token, it surfaces here.

Creative & scheduled work

The last tier:

  • Whiteboards — quick access to your recent whiteboards, with a button to start a new board.
  • Campaign Timeline — this card lists your nearest upcoming scheduled events by date. (The card still carries the older "Campaign Timeline" name even though the full Events surface is now titled "Events Manager.")

Below those is a row of shortcut buttons — New Solution, AI Artifact, News Scout, Whiteboard — for jumping straight into a create flow.

FAQ

Why is my dashboard mostly empty? Because it reflects the active brand, and a new brand starts with zero content, assets, and specs. Create a content piece or two and the widgets fill in. If you expected data and see none, check the Brand Switcher — you may be scoped to the wrong brand.

The numbers look wrong or stale — how do I refresh? Use the refresh button in the dashboard header. It re-pulls every widget at once. The dashboard fetches on load, not on a live socket, so a manual refresh is the way to get the latest.

What does "Sync Health" actually measure? The success rate of your recent external pushes — publishing to social, pushing to your CMS. It's computed from the same log that feeds the Sync Pulse card. A number under 100% means at least one recent push failed; open Sync Pulse to see which.

Is there a CRM or sales widget on the dashboard? No. m18t has no CRM, contacts, or lead-scoring surface — that was removed. Anything claiming otherwise is out of date.

Can I see all my brands at once? Yes — choose All Brands in the switcher and the dashboard aggregates across every brand in your account.
